A good policy is to keep them on separate lines - nothing else on the line (with the exception of one line insertions).
If you want the page title to have the same content as what you passed to the opening function, create a variable for it and pass it to your title tag.
Download and make a note of everything I changed - before you write over it! If you don't use it now, you will use it later.
Also - read all the notes that I wrote into the files, especially the function template!!!
